Yesterday the Ladder and Engine Co. took in the working apartment fire on Box 10-1 with EMS reporting fire from the rear of the building. The Ladder Co took first arriving special service and began a search of the apartment then assisted with opening up and ventilation. The Engine Co. was due on the working fire assignment, they took 3rd due Engine responsibilities and assisted with extinguishment and overhaul.

Before that the Rescue Co. assisted EMS with a Cardiac Arrest.

To end the evening the #volunteers handled 3 more including 2 fire alarms in West Hempfield, and reported house fire in Columbia that turned out to be a furnace malfunction.
