The volunteers stayed steady today with four calls for service. The first call of the day was for the Rescue, Engine, and Traffic for a crash with one trapped in the borough. Then during the lunch hour, the Rescue and Traffic assisted Company 07 (Mountville Fire Company No. 1) with a crash on Route 30. The Rescue was then sent with Blue Rock Regional Fire District to the Enola Low Grade Trail for a technical rescue. Crews found a patient that was trapped in a tree on a steep cliff. The Ladder and UTV were added to the assignment. The Rescue was released for the scene and relocated to Station 907 to cover the township and the borough. The volunteers worked the technical rescue for 3 hours.
