Last night around 10pm, Company 80 and mutual aid were sent to the 500 block of Chestnut Street in the borough for a house fire. Engine 80 and Engine 41 arrived together with normal conditions. The volunteers found a fire that was extinguished on the back porch that required ventilation of the residence. Units were clear of the scene in 30 minutes.

This morning at 710am, Rescue 80 was sent to assist Company 67 with a working mobile home fire on Dell Lane in East Hempfield Township. The crew was assigned the RIT for the scene. The Rescue was placed available after about 45 minutes on scene.

The volunteers have answered 15 calls for service this week in addition to time spent training, meeting, and other fire company business.
