The volunteers answered 3 calls for service yesterday in 30 minutes in the afternoon. The first run was in the borough at South Front Street and Plane Street for a crash with injuries. The Engine was released from the scene to take in a car fire on Columbia Avenue in West Hempfield Township. Not long after the Rescue cleared the crash, they were sent into West Hempfield Township for a crash with injuries on Matietta Avenue.
