The volunteers were steady yesterday answering 8 calls for service. The first call came in at 0630 hours with the Rescue and Traffic assisting York County Station 41 with a crash with entrapment. The Rescue was cancelled and requested to cover 41 while they were on the scene. The Rescue was sent during this time to assist Company 67 with a structure. The afternoon brought 2 calls for a fire alarm on Columbia Avenue in West Hempfield Township and a house fire in the 400 block of Manor Street in the borough. The cause was electrical and scaled back quickly. The Ladder was relocated to York County Station 89-4 and during that time responded to a fire alarm and a crash with fire.
