At 0522 hours, Company 80 and mutual aid were sent into the 100 block of South Fifth Street in the borough for a house fire. Engine 80 crew found a room and contents fire on the the third floor that was quickly extinguished. The searches were negative and no extension was found. Units cleared the scene within 2 hours. Thank you to Rescue 55 and Tower 43 for covering the borough while units operated on the scene.
