Just prior to midnight, Company 80 along with mutual aid were sent into the 200 block of Union Street in the borough for a house fire with possible entrapment. Units found smoke throughout the structure and located the fire between the basement and first floor. The primary search was negative. Crews were on scene for 2 hours before clearing. Rescue 55 and Tower 43 were relocated to the borough during this time. The volunteers were back out the door just after 7am for a reported house fire in the borough on South 6th Street. The problem was quickly traced back to a furnace malfunction. The assignment was held to Company 80 and York 41.
