| The department answered four calls for service during the day. The first run of the day was for a fire alarm in the borough that Engine 80 handled with reports of it being false. The lunch hour sent Engine 80 to Columbia Avenue in West Hempfield Township for a vehicle fire with the incident being unfounded. The afternoon had the Rescue and Ladder handling a reported gas leak in the borough. While on the scene of the gas leak, the volunteers were summoned to an injured person at a local industrial facility across the street. The crews rendered aid until the arrival of EMS. |
