Company 80 and mutual aid were sent for a reported apartment fire on the 8th floor of a high rise located in the borough last night. Engine and Ladder 80 crews found burnt food in the stove with a slight smoke condition. The assignment was downgraded with all units available with 15 minutes of arrival. Earlier in the day, the Engine and Ladder assisted Company 07 with a fire alarm in West Hempfield Township.
