Late last night, Company 80 was sent into Marietta Borough for a house fire on Essex Street. Initial crews found a fire in the attic area. Ladder 80 went to work throwing ground ladders and sending a crew to the roof, while the crew from Engine 802 went into manpower staging. The fire was quickly extinguished and the units from 80 cleared in 30 minutes. Not long after returning, both units were back on the street to assist Company 07 with a fire alarm.
