Christmas Day has brought 2 runs already for the volunteers. The first run brought a response from the Engine, Ladder, and Rescue for a fire alarm in an apartment building. The crew found a smoke condition in the second floor that was quickly traced backed to burnt food. Crews cleared after performing some ventilation. About an hour after clearing, Rescue 80 responded to assist EMS with a medical emergency in the borough.
