Columbia Borough Fire Dept would like to thank Thaddeus Stevens College, Machine Tool Technology with fabricating some custom bushings for our retired 1948 American Lafrance 700 series pumper. Due to the age of the fire truck it is sometimes hard to find the exact parts to replace worn out parts and they came to the rescue. We reached out to Jared Keim who instructs their Machine Tool Technology program and he had student, Laura Benton, machine the bushings that were needed.
