| This was the first recorded tornado in Columbia’s history, something most thought we would never see. CBFD was dispatched to 22 calls during this event, with no reported injuries, mostly for storm damage, downed wires, and a few reported residential rescues, all proving to not have entrapment.
We appreciate the support and the compliance of the citizens. We appreciate the support of all the state, county, and local resources, along with all volunteer groups.
