| The roofman position on the ladder is a HUGE part of the fireground. You’re not just climbing a ladder and getting on the roof — you’re responsible for vertical ventilation, helping improve conditions for the crews operating inside and making sure the job gets done safely and efficiently.
It’s a common task on the fireground, but it’s an IMPORTANT ONE. The only way to get better is to TRAIN.
