Email Print RSS Facebook Twitter RSS

By Lieutenant William Meyers
October 11, 2021

The volunteers have taken in three calls for the day since 6am. The first call was for a reported structure fire in the 400 block of Locust Street in the borough. The crew found a small fire that was extinguished and the assignment was downgraded to Company 80 and York Engine 41. During the lunch hour, Engine 80 was requested to assist Company 07 with a brush fire in West Hempfield Township. While operating on that incident, Ladder 80 was sent to assist Wrightsville Fire & Rescue Company 41 with a garage fire in the 800 block of Hellam Street. Engine 80 cleared the brush fire and responded on the working fire assignment to York County.
