As a line of storms moved into the area, Company 80 was sent to the Susquehanna River for a water rescue. Both Squads and Boats made the response and found nothing. As the units were getting back, Engine 2 and the Rescue Squad were sent to Norwood Road and Betty Lane in West Hempfield Township for a brush fire. The call was held to Engine 802 and Squad 76 awaiting PP&L. Then as Engine 802 was clearing it was alerted with Ladder 80 to assist Company 07 with a structure fire on Columbia Avenue. Engine 802 was first arriving engine and secured its own water supply taking position on side alpha. Ladder 80 was first arriving special service and took side Charlie. Both crews assisted with investigation with the problem being traced back to a HVAC problem.
