2 Fire Alarms, Brush Fire, and Environmental Rescue

The volunteers remained steady today answering 4 calls for service. The first call was for a fire alarm in the borough on Union Street, the Engine and Ladder handled. The second call was a fire alarm in West Hempfield Township with the Ladder and Engine assisting with the cause being burnt food. The afternoon brought additional 2 calls in the Township. The Engine, Rescue, and Traffic assisted on a brush fire on the outskirts of the borough. While operating there, the Rescue and UTV responded to the Northwest River Trail for a medical assist.
