The volunteers responded to the 500 block of South 15th Street in West Hempfield Township for a structure fire assisting West Hempfield Fire/Rescue during the early hours on Saturday. Engine 80 found a working fire on the second floor and began fire suppression with Ladder 80 preforming ventilation and opening for the engine crew. The Rescue and Traffic also responded with all units clearing in 2 hours. Thank you to Rescue 55 and Tower 43 for back-filling the borough. Sunday afternoon brought a reported smoke condition on the third floor of a high-rise in the borough. The Engine and Ladder found burnt food with no extension or smoke. The assignment was held to Company 80 and York County Engine 9.
